Albany Community Police Review Board

Community Outreach

The Community Police Review Board informs and educates the public.

In an effort to ensure that the general public has a broad and comprehensive understanding of the City of Albany’s oversight and accountability efforts, the Albany Community Police Review Board Outreach Coordinator and Board members inform and educate the public about:

  • How to file a complaint
  • The structure and authority of the CPRB
  • The investigation and mediation process
  • Community Members’ rights and responsibilities during police encounters

The CPRB hosts and participates in community events to strengthen relationships with the communities it serves and share information about what resources are available.
